Cancer has become a public health concern in Kenya with many cases being reported and often misdiagnosed until to late. More so, many patients find themselves in dire financial situation as a result of a cancer diagnosis. consequently, the choice between treatment or taking care of loved ones becomes a reality. It is often patients choice to forego treatment to feed their children and take care of their families.
Rware Cancer Support Group, through funds generate through the sale of these handmade baskets, napkin holders and fruit trays are making a difference for such families. Our daughter has exemplified such a character and the limits are unknown…(anyway, who says there should be limits on what one can achieve…the only limits are those we self inflict upon ourselves by our own thinking).
